ROAE3 Participates in a Workshop to Formulate the ‘One Local, One High-Value Agricultural Product’ Action Plan for FY2026 in Nong Bua Lamphu Province

On March 12, 2026, Ms. Pawarisa Sirikul, the Acting Director of the Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 (ROAE3), assigned Ms. Narinpat Lakapunrat, a Senior Policy and Plan Analyst from the Agricultural Economic Development Zone Planning Division, to attend a workshop for the formulation of the Action Plan under the “High-Value Agricultural Products and Services Data Collection Project (One Local, One High-Value Agricultural Product)” for the 2026 fiscal year. The meeting, chaired by Ms. Thipphawan Arunsri, the Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Officer, was held at the Bualuang Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of the Nong Bua Lamphu Provincial Hall. This collaborative session brought together heads of government agencies and officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives to strategically plan for the development of 11 key local products, including rice, fish, “Kwaii Ngam” (beautiful buffaloes), sugarcane, bananas, mushrooms, Melientha Suavis, Krachiao Usa flowers, giant sour tamarind, beef cattle, and lotus flowers. The workshop focused on aligning these local products with a strategic framework consisting of three primary pillars: elevating production to meet high-value agricultural standards, enhancing value through processing, and strengthening the overall capacity of farmers and agricultural institutions. By establishing clear achievement indicators under these strategies, the participants aimed to create a robust roadmap for sustainable economic growth within the province. The event concluded with a unified commitment from all departmental representatives to implement these high-value agricultural initiatives effectively throughout the upcoming fiscal year.
