The Director of ROAE 3 Participates in the Second-Round Meeting to Monitor Project Implementation Progress under the FY 2026 Inspection Plan for Inspection Area 10 (Nong Bua Lamphu Province)

On July 27, 2026, Mr. Paitoon Silapat, Director of the Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 (ROAE 3), participated in the second-round meeting to monitor the progress and performance of projects under the Fiscal Year 2026 Inspection Plan of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives for Inspection Area 10, covering Nong Bua Lamphu Province. The meeting was held online via Zoom Meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Thiti Lohapiyaphan, Inspector-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives for Inspection Area 10**. The meeting aimed to monitor the progress and performance of 18 projects implemented in Nong Bua Lamphu Province under three key policies of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, as follows:

Policy 1: Enhancing Production through Technology and Innovation

The meeting followed up on the project to enhance the capacity of agricultural institutions to become comprehensive Agricultural Service Providers.

Policy 2: Increasing Farmers’ Income

The meeting monitored projects involving the application of sustainable rice production technologies, the promotion of organic fertilizer production, agricultural land management, environmentally friendly farming, the development of locally distinctive agricultural products, and the enhancement of agricultural and food product standards.

Policy 3: Developing Farmers’ Capacity

The meeting monitored activities relating to occupational promotion and development, farmer debt resolution, the prevention and mitigation of haze and forest fires, agricultural land allocation, and the development of farmer institutions, community enterprises, and agricultural organizations.

The Director of ROAE 3 further noted that, based on the findings presented at a meeting organized by ROAE 3 to discuss value creation through carbon credits in Nong Bua Lamphu Province, the province has strong potential to develop low-carbon rice production using alternate wetting and drying practices .This approach helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions and PM2.5 pollution , while low-carbon rice commands a higher purchase price than conventional rice and can generate additional value through carbon credits . Heads of government agencies, agency representatives, and officials from relevant agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Nong Bua Lamphu Province attended the meeting to report operational results, exchange information, and jointly drive the projects toward achieving the Ministry’s policy objectives effectively.
